Privacy and sharing
Understand who can see an Entry, how Shared Spaces limit collaboration, and which access decisions remain with the author or space creator.
Start private
New Entries and Contacts start private. Private content belongs to your owned Entity and does not become visible to another person merely because they are saved as a Contact or participate in an unrelated Shared Space.
Treat Public as a separate audience
Public visibility makes selected content available outside your private workspace. A public profile follows the same principle: only the profile fields and connected accounts you explicitly make public appear to visitors.
Keep ownership clear
An Entry's author-owner controls its visibility, location, editing permission, and deletion lifecycle. Shared Space participation can allow collaboration, but it does not transfer ownership or expose unrelated records.
Review access regularly
Use the Privacy Center in Settings to review the private, shared, and public content currently available to your account. Revisit participants and visibility whenever the audience or purpose of a space changes.
